yes it is for attention and to show the person that you like them. It does in some ways make you look easy and cheap. But in some ways it is an ok way to show your feelings to someone as long as it is not toally over the edge.

Reply:I think that to an extent that it is done for attention but that desire for attention probably derives from having interest in that particular person and/or because you like them and want to show in a playful way that you have an interest in them and potentially care. I mean usually, it is usually pretty harmless and I do not think that it is lame at all and under the right circumstances it can be fun and/or sweet.
Reply:GA lighten up girl. Flirting is fun and a way to get to know people better. I do not agree that a girl that is flirting looks cheap and easy.

Flirting is normal (unless you are in a relationship and flirting). Showing your feelings is normal (being in love).


It does not matter if you are a girl or a boy, all have equal rights to enjoy life! Would you sacrifice your life for those people that might think of you as whatever? Too bad, another life and youth wasted...

Reply:I don't think flirting makes a person look easy and cheap(depending on the TYPE of flirting)if a girl walks up to a guy and does something that is supposed to get him to not be a gentleman, then she is easy, cheap, and distasteful, but if a girl walks up to a guy and just starts to talk with him to start a pleasant conversation, thats ok, because flirting is not in and of itself wrong, but just a way to get to know someone whom you find attractive. I don't think it is lame when a girl would flirt with me, just as long as it is the GOOD kind of flirting(as in pleasant conversation)
