It depends how far you take it. Are you wanting to get to know the crush as a friend? Then they will feel comfortable around the group or are you flirting, because its taboo? Are you liking the competition with your friend? The challenge that maybe the crush willl like you? If you are just being nice, than dont worry. If your heart is racing because youre doing something wrong. Then you didnt need to ask the question in the first place. Think how your friend will feel if the crush ends up liking you.
